I had never heard of Jeannette Walls as an author before reading this book, but after being introduced to her writing in college, I am absolutely in love. This book is raw, but exceptionally humorous. Her way of turning bad circumstance into an exciting adventure is something extraordinary and will make you not want to put this book down.

The characters are complex, hilarious, terrible and endearing in their own way. You will love them, hate them and want to be a part of this crazy family all in one page. Truly captivating and an awesome read.
